The Experience
At A Humble Wayside Flower, I am dedicated to bringing beauty to the first day of the next chapter in your life. Your florals should represent you and your aesthetic, and at the same time be a reminder of the Author of all beauty. Whether it be an elevated and classy theme or a whimsical and fun feel, I am here to make your vision a reality. I believe in a personal approach and open communication with my clients. I am here for every floral detail, down to the last petal.
The Process
1. Inquire
Whether it be through submitting a Wedding Information Form, or a request via email, the first step is where I learn what products you are looking for and the vision and mood for your florals.
2. Consultation
A consultation allows me to better understand your vision, and establishes a personal relationship between the florist and the bride.
3. Design and Estimates
Through inspiration pictures, or a detailed description of requested florals and pieces, I put together a custom-made quote that reflects the products you want based upon your needs and vision. The quotes may go through revisions.
4. Contracts and Invoice
Oncee the quote has been approved by both parties, I send a contract for the client to fill out, which both parties sign. The client also receive an invoice at the same time.
5. Floral Proposal
Once the client has signed the contract, I create a custom floral proposal that includeds vision boards, flower variety profiles, and other information so that I can ensure that I am completely capturing your unique vision.

Notes on AI
While I understand using AI to see your vision in a picture, as a matter of principle I do not use AI reference pictures. I believe they take some of the design process away from the florist, and create unrealistic expectations for the client. AI reference photos of wedding flowers can be especially misleading for a number of reasons.

AI can manipulate the flowers into ways that defeat actual physics in the real world, and cannot be replicated.

AI often combines flowers from different seasons into the same bouquet, which may create an attachment to flowers that are simply not available depending on your wedding date.

AI often misrepresents the colors and shapes of multiple varieties of flowers. The most common color misrepresented is blue, a color which is extremely rare in nature, but often appears in AI reference pictures.
As in any reference picture, AI or not, I do not recreate pictures. I apply my style to your vision and color palette. It is my job to create a design for your wedding florals, and using AI to provide a reference photo takes away some of the design process. Trusting me as your florist is an important part of the client-florist relationship. I will do my best to capture your vision, but I will not be using AI reference pictures.
I do not use AI to generate any images or texts.
If you do provide me with AI reference pictures I will inform you that the picture is AI and find a similar image for you of real flowers for you to see.
