This was my first fall wedding to arrange the flowers for, and I absolutely loved this experience. Emma was wonderful to work with, and had such a spirit of joyfulness about her. It was very beautiful to see.

Emma's original color scheme was cream, terracotta, burgundy, dusty rose, dark orange and sage green. When we went to Metro Flower Market, she absolutely fell in love with the purple flowers available there. I was able to make the colors work together, and it created something unique and beautiful. It was the perfect arrangement for fall!
The flowers I used for the bouquets were Red Dutch Astilbe, Purple Tornado Mums, Purple Cushion Mums, White Dahlias, Eucalyptus 'Gunni', Eucalyptus 'Parvifolia', Bronze Button Pom Mums, White Tibet Roses, White Spray Roses, and Orange Waxflower.

My favorite thing about this wedding was the combination of fall colors. I also loved designing in a new style. Emma wanted a more classical look, where the flowers are less wild/bohemian, and it was very rewarding to arrange her bouquet. Her bouquet included baby's breath, which was a sweet shout-out to an inside joke with her mother.
Her bouquet was the only bouquet to include peach hypericum, and Matt's boutonniere was the only boutonnière to include peach hypericum. This is a design option that I have started offering, as I think it adds a special touch of uniting the bride and groom in the little way of having the same flower that is only for them.
I also loved the corsages that I designed for this wedding; I used ribbon to tie on the corsages instead of the elastic, which I find comes loose very quickly. I was able to include almost every flower that was part of the bouquets.

I also helped coordinate the boutonniere, bouquets, and corsages on the day of the wedding. That was very fun to be present for. Everyone was glowing.
