Kayla and Josh - August 10, 2024

This summer I arranged the flowers for two sisters. The first was Ana, who recommended me to her sister Kayla.

Kayla was extremely chill about the flowers, which gave me some creative liberties when arranging the flowers. Her only concern was with the color palette which was peach, white, and eucalyptus green. I was arranging the bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, the boutonnieres, and two arrangements to go underneath statues of the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph.

I used Bicolor Samba Roses and Peach Tiffany Roses for the peach, as well as peach carnations, which were used more in the bridesmaids bouquets. I included White Tibet Roses, as well as a few white spray roses, to break up the peach. I added peach hypericum, which added a fun dimension to the bridal bouquet. I also used peach hypericum in the design of the groom's boutonniere. There were also white wax flowers, and baby's breath included in the bridal bouquet. The eucalyptus included the varieties 'Parvifolia' and 'Silver Dollar.'

I arranged the bridal bouquets and some boutonnieres in my workshop, and arranged the bridal bouquet and the rest of the order at the brides house. I once again had help from the bride's sister who is a talented florist, and she completed the boutonnieres and corsages as well as making beautiful head table arrangement.
