I was given the privilege of arranging the wedding flowers for my cousin and his now wife, which was such a gift.

The couple was so amazing to work with, and they are both such wonderful people who know that the real focus was the Sacrament of Marriage.

Ana sent me her color palette which consisted of a dusty mauve, white and eucalyptus green. She also sent me some inspiration pictures and from there I was able to design her bouquet as well as the bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages.

I used Pink Brick Barista Roses and Blush Sugar Roses for the mauve color, as well as 'Dara' which ranges from a purplish white to a beautiful dark mauve. I included Peony Blush White Festiva Maxima, which actually had mauve and pink streaks which blended the bouquet together as well as adding a wonderful smell. She also requested white delphinium. Most of the flowers were sourced from Metro Flower Market, but the 'Dara' was from a local farm - Fiat Gardens, who I have sourced from before and love their flowers. There were also white wax flowers, and scabiosa seed heads to add texture. The greenery was eucalyptus from Trader Joe's - Eucalyptus 'Baby Blue' and 'Silver Dollar'.

I arranged the bouquets at the bride's home, and had help from the bride's sister who is a talented florist as well, especially in boutonnieres and corsages which she assisted in.

I included peonies in the maid of honor's bouquet to make it have a special connection to the bride's bouquet. Another special touch was including white waxflower in the groom's boutonniere.

The bride and groom had a head table to themselves decorated with two centerpieces featuring the flowers in the bridal bouquet, along with rose petals in between the two.
